Role & responsibilities
Channel Head would focus on building and managing relationships with other businesses, such as distributors, retailers, and corporate clients. Here's how the role might be adapted:
Channel Development:Identifying and selecting B2B distribution channels, such as wholesalers, distributors, and specialized suppliers, to reach businesses in target industries.
Channel Management:Establishing agreements, contracts, and partnerships with B2B channel partners, negotiating terms and conditions, and ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Sales and Revenue Generation:Setting sales targets for the B2B channel, developing pricing strategies, and implementing sales programs to drive revenue growth through business-to-business transactions.
Marketing Support:Collaborating with the marketing team to develop B2B-focused marketing materials, trade promotions, and industry-specific campaigns to generate demand and support sales efforts.
Team Handling :Providing product training, technical support, and sales resources to B2B channel partners to enhance their product knowledge and sales capabilities.
Market Analysis:Conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the B2B segment, and adapting strategies to capitalize on market trends and customer needs.
Channel Performance Evaluation:Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales volume, customer acquisition, and retention rates to evaluate the effectiveness of B2B channel strategies and optimize performance.
Customer Relationship Management:Building and maintaining strong relationships with B2B clients, providing personalized service, and addressing their specific needs and requirements to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Compliance and Contract Management:Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, industry regulations, and quality standards in B2B transactions, and managing contracts and agreements with B2B channel partners.
